Jai Haissman CR, SEP is a clinical trauma expert, certified Rolfer, and consultant with advanced training in emotion theory, attachment theory, and body oriented therapies. In practice since 1992, Jai has over 2 decades experience in the field. This clinical experience developed a deep recognition for the role of body based approaches to support change in communication, learning, mentation, and happiness. Bringing a trained and unique perspective on change and learning, Jai has taught and consulted for psychiatrists, counselors, and bodyworkers. Having studied and mentored with some of the best minds in trauma and attachment theory, including Dr. Peter Levine, he was invited to join a study group and write with Dr Allan N Schore. Jai holds a BA in Philosophy from UCSC, is a Certified Rolfer, Somatic Experiencing Practitioner, and has taught nationally and internationally, and provides personal sessions and consultation at all levels for students in the SE training program. He is the longest certified Somatic Experiencing practitioner in the Bay Area. Other interests include yoga, mindfulness meditation, motorcycle touring, affect sensing software, and kind and clever people.
